How many people does the caravan accommodate?
The caravan comfortable accommodates 4 people in a king size bedroom and twin bedroom. Cots can be provide on request.
Is there water, electricity and gas?
The caravan is connected to the mains water supply (and waste water). There is electricity, but care needs to be taken to not overload the site supply. Gas is through bottled gas.
Is there parking close to the caravan?
There is parking alongside the caravan on the grassed area. Parking is not gravelled to maintain the being 'close to nature' of the site.
Is there a site warden?
Yes, there is a site warden and maintenance staff who oversee the safe operation of the site. They also ensure that the visitors comply with site rules (provided on booking) and are on hand to help with any emergencies.
Is there TV and Wifi?
Yes, there is a flat screen TV in the lounge area. Wifi is through mobile internet through an extrenal aerial with a router. Although Wifi is generally good, we cannot guarantee that the signal is always strong due to the mobile signal on the island. Most phone networks work well at the site and on the island
What time is arrival and departure?
Arrival is from 4pm and departure is before 10am.
Why is a security bond payable?
A security bond is required in the rare case there may be damage caused to the caravan. This is fully refundable if the caravan is left as found with no damages.
What happens if there are any emergencies?
Guests are provided with a 24 hour contact number in case of emergencies. There is also a warden on the site at all times.
How close is the caravan to Holyhead?
Holyhead is less than 10 minutes by car and about a 20 minute walk. There is also a retail park close by. Adjacent to the site is a pub and restaurant (summer months). There are many shops, restaurants, cafes and takeaways in both Holyhead and Trearrdur Bay.
Are Dogs Allowed?
'Yes' we allow a maximum of two well-behaved dogs. This is on the condition that dogs do not go on furniture or bedding and that dogs (if wet) are dried prior to entering the caravan. We reserve the right to add an additional cleaning charge if these conditions are not observed. Dogs MUST be kept on a lead at all times whilst on the site.
